In 1840 a French ship was found adrift with her sails up not far from the Bahamas. But there was no crew on board. In 1881 the same story happened to the British ship “Helen Ostine”, when it had been already known about the “Atlanta”. But the most exciting story happened to the “Mary Celeste”.
