1.Modern technology is creating a single world culture.
2.Ever eaten dog? Some cultures eat animals which others don’t. What is acceptable in your culture?
3.To tip or not to tip? Different cultural traditions of tipping.
4.Special days and dates. Different countries have different public holidays and some days have special significance.
Law and order:
1.What is the best punishment for a crime? One modern solution is naming and shaming.
2.Are we all criminals? At some time in all our lives we have been tempted to commit a crime.
3.Public figures, private lives. Should people in public life be allowed to keep their private lives private?
4.Do you drive? Driving, cars, speed cameras, driving tests.
Search for facts and opinions in credible sources (governmental sources, official statistics, respectable media)
Develop a clear argument based on the selected data and present your group’s opinion with evidence and other necessary support. Give a poster presentation in a gallery walk.
