1858

- captain Dyachenko with the soldiers of the 13th Siberian linear battalion founded the post later called Khabarovka.
1880 - Khabarovka got the status of a town.
1882 – 3 main streets: Baranovskaya street (now Lenin street), Muraviev-Amursky street, Tihmentievskaya street (now Seryshev street). Beregovaya street (where the 1st settlements appeared).
1921 – Alexeevskaya street got the name of well-known Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko

Khabarovsk Regional Lore Museum was

opened in April 19th, 1894.
In 1994 it got the name of general-governor N.I. Grodekov.
In 2000 the Khabarovsk Regional Lore Museum received the title "The best museum of the year 2000".
The museum is a member of the Russian Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM).

Nowadays it has more than 328.438 items.
The Museum consists of 12 sections.
Annually the museum is visited by 180.000 people.

Trade House by Innokentiy Semenovich Emery.
There were different shops in the 1st floor and rooms for rent on the 2nd one.
In 1913 I. Emery sold it to the merchant P. Unterberger.
In 1915 this building was transformed into the town school.
In 1917 the school was reconstructed but the original building was kept till nowadays.

Now there is the municipal secondary school №35 and the museum of admiral G. Ushakov.

In 1930 it was reconstructed and became a hotel for VIP persons. Mikhail Gorbachev, Kim Ir Sen, Federico Carlucci, Shah Reza Pakhlevi, Boris Yeltsin and other famous persons stayed here.
Now it serves as business center. It has a conference hall, modern telecommunication opportunities and various ways of entertainment, including billiard, table tennis and etc.
It is one of the most prestigious city restaurant for 45 persons with the authentic Russian cuisine, the luxurious interior reminding wonderful pastimes.
