Great Britain, a country that at first glance is isolated from

the rest of the world. An island state with its laws, traditions, customs, a special political system, but, nevertheless, this does not hinder it from developing at all, and not only in line with statehood, but also with culture. London, the largest city in the United Kingdom, became the capital of the English kingdom during the time of Henry I. The modern city is a conglomeration of sprawling and merged towns and villages, but its main historical centers are City, Tower and Westminster. And, of course, London is one of the cultural centers of Great Britain. Every year thousands of tourists visit him in order to see all of his beauty with his own eyes.

Buckingham Palace is the official residence of Queen Elizabeth. It

is located near Green Park. When the Queen is in the residence, the Royal Standard flies over Buckingham Palace.

Big Ben is the name of the Great bell of

the clock at the Palace of Westminster. Nowadays this name mostly refers to the clock and the clock tower.
In 2012 the tower was renamed to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of the Queen and is now officially known as the Elizabeth Tower.
The height of the tower is 96,3 metres. Big Ben is one of the most prominent symbols of the United Kingdom.
