THE BEGINNING OF MAGIC
My elder sister’s schoolmate wanted
to improve his English and found a native speaker for that purpose in the social net Facebook.
Eugene and John became good friends and Zhenya invited him to Melenki.
Miracles happen!!! John came to our provincial town and found some more Russian friends here.
Our English teachers are among them.
All of us can describe John in 4 lines:

wonderful person, so she started exchanging letters with John.
The age difference was not noticeable, because John is so broad-minded and understanding! When he came to visit us, Nastya became an interpreter for the whole family and she really liked it.
Nastya is an interpreter now, and John was one of the reasons for choosing this profession.

walked around the town with him. We took him to Russian villages, showed Russian banya, told about our traditions and served him Russian food. John made a strong impression on us and he liked us too, that is why he decided to come to Russia again.

came to us for the first time and lived at our place. I only listened with wide open eyes how Nastya communicated with an Englishman. I spoke English little but I was proud to have beaten John in chess. In 3 years, during John’s 2nd visit to Melenki, I spoke with him much more. As for his 3d visit, it was unforgettable!!!

a concert project for our wonderful guest.
All students and teachers did much to make the project a reality. And we did it!
