The Future Indefinite is used

to denote a future action.
I am tired. I shall go and have a nap before dinner.
To denote a future action whish is going to happen in the nearest future the word combination to be going + Infinitive, to be about + Infinitive and to be on the point+ Gerund are often used.
This is going to be a cheerful evening.
The runners are about to start.
The time adverbials which are used in Future Indefinite are: tomorrow, next week/next month…, in a month/in a year…
