you about sir Paddy Roy Bates. He was born in 1921 and was a colonel of British army.

He was a men,

decided, that he could make his own Principality and as he knew the lows of the British very good – he did it.

His story started in 1965 when he made his own pirate

radio station (Radio Essex) and used for this purpose unused barge called Knock John Tower, but the government of British didn’t like his idea with no reason.

The next step was to make an

amusement park with his friend Ron O’Railey on the same barge (Roughs Tower), but this one was placed on the neutral water. But they quarreled and Roy Bates decided to make his own principality with Black Jack and his family.

O’Railey was a little pussy and came

back with rifles and shotguns, but was punished. But the reason was in British court not to have deal with that case as everything happen in the neutral waterspace.

everything the wanted to. They even shouted to the fishermen stayed in their “country” water, telling that it is not UK business.
