the world of marine shipping thanks to its 65 000 highly qualified specialists, its graduates. * About 10, 800 cadets study at National University «Odessa Maritime Academy» . * The University was accredited by the State Board of Ukraine with accreditation level IV (the highest). * The studies are carried out according to the 3-cycle system of education. * The system of ship’s crew training is in compliance with the requirements of the International Convention STCW-78 as amended which give graduates the right to work on all types of vessels of national and foreign shipping companies.

South West coast of Ukraine has not natural bays and safety places for mooring and anchoring for yachts and small crafts.
Due to the abovementioned there is lack of cruising destinations which are caused by the absence of yacht marines on the coast.
That’s why it’s impossible to sail comfortably and safely in the region, short time cruise or one-day trip.
Ukrainian Legislation:
The procedure for entering Ukrainian ports for foreign yachts and small crafts
is the same as for large convention vessels.
