- 9. Hot July brings cooling showers, Apricots and gillyflowers.
- 10. August brings the sheaves of corn, Then the harvest home is borne.
- 11. Warm September brings the fruit; Sportsmen then began to shoot.
- 12. Fresh October brings the pheasant; Then to gather nuts is pleasant.
- 13. Dull November brings the blast; Then the leaves are whirling fast.
- 14. Chill December brings the sleet, Blazing fire, and Christmas treat.
