This game is for students level 2 and up.
They

should already know the alphabet and be able to spell some words.
Those words with which a level 2 student is unlikely to be familiar are illustrated in the following slides. If your student doesn’t already know most of the other words, you should choose a different game; this game would be too hard for them.
Please note that there are also directions following the slide show. These are for the teachers to read prior to using – and not for the class! : ) Have fun learning!e

Get one game piece for each student or each team.
Place one subject word on each square. Example: I, my dog, We, etc. place one word on each square.
Now have students flip a coin. Heads – 1 Tails – 2
Each player flips the coin when it is their turn. If they spell the word correctly, they get to move forward.
