Wave sculpture. Candle brainstorm

surface texture (not too choppy, not oil smooth)
Model should stand alone as if it were to set in front of a table
Model will be 3D printed and eventually made into a wax mold, appropriate resolution of the spray of the breaking wave will be critical for realism but can’t be to fine as it won’t print correctly

is significantly higher than in front, possible a good place for the wick would be behind the wave

to get to look right, a lot of spray is not required. The focus of the sculpture should be on the curl and the area to be surfed
